Implantology is a new dental practice that aims to restore missing teeth with titanium implants. We then place a small titanium screw designed to replace the root of a missing natural tooth.

Implants replace one tooth or more or the whole dental arch, restoring previous aesthetic and chewing functions. The result is a mouth with same features and functionality of a natural one.

Implantology is not painful since during surgery patients receive anesthesia to reduce the discomfort. We use efficient local anesthesia specifically made for oral surgery, so that the patient does not feel any pain.

Immediate implant placement
Immediate implant placement is a common practice in our clinic and it is used to provide our patients with permanent teeth within 24 hours.

The term ‘immediate placement’ means that teeth are directly placed on dental implants in a fixed way (as opposed to mobile prosthesis). We do this through a fixed temporary prothesis placed on a newly inserted implant. In this way patients shall not worry of being without teeth while waiting for a prosthesis. Immediate placement can be placed on all teeth, on one or more implants.

Among the immediate implant placement methods, Doctor Battaglia and his team have a long experience in All-on-4 and All-on-6 techniques. Both allow to restore the dental arch by placing 4 or 6 plants at specific bone locations in order to guarantee an excellent response when chewing. Patients will get a temporary fixed prosthesis within 24 hours from surgery.
